Ms. Kiria holds a Masters of Business Administration from Moi University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from USIU – Africa She also holds a Diploma in Public Relations Management and a National Diploma in Business from Kenya Institute of Management. She has attended the Senior Managers Leadership Development Program at Strathmore Business School in collaboration with the University of Manila Business School, Philippines.
Ms. Kiria has over 25 years’ experience in corporate management having served in several roles at the East African Portland Cement where she started as an Office Assistant and rose through the ranks to different management roles such as Sales Manager for Nairobi region, Marketing Manager, Customer Care Manager, Corporate Affairs Manager, and Transport Manager.
Among her achievements include negotiating for EAPCC to be among the first companies that were chosen for pilot training in the implementation of Social Responsibility after the Conference held in Geneva in 2012. She was also involved in revising the International Standards Organization 26000 document in Geneva in 2012.
She is also a Rotarian and has been recognized internationally for her rotary initiatives such as the Certificate of Honorary Membership Rotarian Action Group for Blindness Prevention in E.A, in Lisbon, Portugal, 2013. She has also participated in an exchange initiative of the Vocational Training Team of the VTT Project with Rotary District, Sweden.
