Mrs. Ipato Korema Surum was appointed the Chairperson of the Anti FGM Board in July 2023 by President William Ruto. She was born in June 1976 in the present Narok County where FGM is deeply entrenched in the Maasai community. She holds a Bachelors in Business Management.
