The Cabinet Secretary for Public Service and Gender Prof. Margaret Kobia today welcomed the incoming Principal Secretary for the State Department for Gender Prof. Colleta Suda and bid farewell to the outgoing Principal Secretary Hon. Safina Kwekwe Tsungu, who now moves over to the State Department for Tourism.

The CS wished the two leaders success in their new assignments and urged them to always keep the interests of the nation first. The changes are a culmination of the reshuffle in the Executive announced by President Uhuru Kenyatta on January 14, 2020. Other guests present at the handover ceremony included Anti FGM Board CEO Bernadette Loloju, Women Enterprise Fund CEO Eng. Charles Mwirigi, Secretary for Gender Ms. Faith Kasiva and other senior officials of the ministry.
